Demystifying Watercolor: Intermediate Technique

This class is a continuation of Demystifying Watercolor: Foundational Technique. We will take techniques introduced in that class, and focus on more mastery with practice and feedback. Topics covered include creating even washes and gradients, wet-on-wet techniques, color glazing, and identifying how to mix colors from nature. All techniques will be demonstrated and include hands-on exercises. In addition, concepts will be illustrated and discussed in a slide presentation of works by noted watercolorists. Each class will be supplemented with handouts, demo recordings and pdfs of the slide presentations.
