Instruction Medium: Watercolor

From delicate leaves, flowers, and fungi to feathered birds, fawns, and nature scenes; you will paint a menagerie of spring textures utilizing various watercolor techniques and growing your artistic toolbox. Learn from live demonstrations, feedback, and classwork how to render nature, landscapes, and animals in watercolors. Paint and learn alongside artist, illustrator, and wilderness survivalist Willow Heath.
 

Required Supplies

ALL supplies listed are REQUIRED for this class. If you have any questions, please reach out.


• 140lb cotton watercolor paper. Recommended: 9x12 Winsor & Newton cotton watercolor block or Blick Premier cotton.
• Watercolor paints, professional quality. Pan or tube set. Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Holbein etc.
• Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-6. Recommended: Princeton Select series round or Princeton Velvetouch round.
• 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch.
• 1 pencil
• 1 roll of 3M Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Washi Tape .7
• Paper towels
• Scissors
• 1 Sakura Gelly Roll, White pen size 8 or 10
• 1 Pebeo Brand drawing gum masking fluid pen 0.7mm OR other masking fluid
• 1 container for water
• Saral Brand transfer paper or other graphite transfer paper. NOT CARBON paper, must be erasable.
