With over three decades of telling stories about people and technology, Karon started working in documentary television and evolved her narrative skills to create digital storytelling tools for Pixar and DreamWorks SKG artists. She is an  expert working with nascent technology and partnering with users to realize new products. Karon uses stories to turn complex problems into groundbreaking solutions that transform people's lives and how they learn, work, and play. With credits on four films and over forty patents, her passion for making usable and engaging software has led her to write stories that advance user experiences for XBOX, Alias|Wavefront, and Microsoft technologies. Most recently, she founded a team to modernize and democratize K-12 STEM curriculum and has been working with global educators to write stories that engage students with 21st century skills.
