Learn various pen marking techniques to create 2D patterns and textures covering 3D forms to create tone and texture with line. Through a variety of exercises learn techniques referenced from Master prints and ink drawings to contemporary artists using pens. A range of subject material will be introduced weekly such as Master copy, botanical, portrait, and design. Techniques include pen holding and mark making exercises: line, cross contour, value shading.
