Gage Academy is dedicated to bringing arts to the community by making programs accessible to everyone. Each year, Gage Academy supports dedicated, but financially challenged students through the need-based Stand-by Scholarship. Those who qualify may apply for full- and half-tuition scholarships for a period of two quarters of adult programs.
Award (or Scholarship) recipients will be enrolled into programs on a stand-by basis. Stand-by scholarships are limited to one program per quarter and are not applicable to atelier or Studio Arts Intensive programs or weeklong workshops. Scholarships do not cover supply costs and/or additional material fees requested by the instructor.
Eligibility is based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines for the 2021 tax year. Full scholarships are available for households income falls at or under 200% of the federal poverty line. Half scholarships are available for household incomes that fall between 200%-250% of the federal poverty guidelines.
Please submit Stand-By Scholarship Application Form to apply for the scholarship.

Land Acknowledgment: Gage Academy of Art would like to acknowledge that we stand on the traditional ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples—specifically the Duwamish People, past and present—and honor, with gratitude, the land itself, the Duwamish Tribe, and their ancient heritage. Without them, we would not have access to this gathering, dialogue and learning space. We ask that we take this opportunity to thank the original caretakers of this land, who are still here.
Non-Discrimination Policy: Gage Academy of Art does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, age, religion, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational and admission policies, scholarships, and any school administered programs
