Gesture for Animation

This 5-week class is focused on the theoretical and practical side of figurative gesture from the lens of the animator, so we will be spending each class discussing and practicing core ideas that would help an animator sketch loosely and energetically. This is a great class for anyone who is considering getting into animation (or are already animating) or those who want to enhance their drawings/paintings with more flow. You will walk away from this class with an understanding of line, shape, storytelling in pose, and expressions - as well as lots and lots of drawings!
