Amy Erickson is a painter and educator based in Seattle, WA. She holds a BFA in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute (2014) and is an alumnus of the Trowbridge Atelier (2020) and the  Flack Atelier (2019).  Amy received a Stanley R. & Robert E. Wright Foundation for the Arts Scholarship (2018) the Gage Academy of Art, a Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists Scholarship Award (2019), and a Joan Burgess Shorey Scholarship, Washington (2021) through the Washington Studio School. Amy has recently had a solo exhibition through Figure/Ground Gallery (2024). She has also recently exhibited at Railspur (2023) and at the Cascadia Art Museum Gala (2022). She is currently teaches painting the Modern Color Atelier, Warrior Art Camp, and the Penn Studio School.
