Practicing the Portrait in Clay
Jeanne Marie Ferraro
$630
LOCATION NOTE: This class will be taking place at our Georgetown Location.
There are several methods used to make a portrait in clay. One picks a method that works with the narrative of the piece, and how the work will be finished. Finishing a portrait to be cast in bronze or glass is different than a portrait in which the clay will be fired. But first, practice. In this short course, the student will practice seeing the model and responding to what they see. The work will not necessarily be saved.
