Instruction Medium: Procreate or Clip Studio Paint

An introduction to painting figures, skin tones, hair, and all things human with a digital medium. Each week we will use studies of both photos and paintings to help translate painting techniques from traditional art into the digital world. We'll be going over basic digital painting techniques, which brushes are best to use, studying human figures through photos, and methods for painting quickly. This class will also serve as a great study in color, light, and shadow. By the end of class, students will have at least 5 finished studies, including a human portrait and hand.
