Instruction Medium: Colored Pencil
Explore the vibrancy and brilliance of colored pencils. Learn color theory, mixing color values by layering, the importance of pressure techniques, blending, burnishing, washing with solvent and using watercolor pencils. Exercises include a variety of subjects, floral, skin tones, still life and creating various textures. Color pencil history, brands and papers will be discussed. Demonstrations, reference handouts and photos provided weekly.
