Figure Painting in Oils/Acrylic

Learn to paint realistic figures using oil or acrylic paint. Students will develop original figure paintings from professional art model photographs as reference and discover essential concepts and techniques for mixing flesh tones, paint application, and how to imbue their work with a compelling sense of light, atmosphere, and form. Lectures, demonstrations, and group critiques will be provided during online lessons, and students will work during class meetings and at home to finish their pieces.
