Artists from Gage and the surrounding community are warmly invited to join Sculpture Atelier Monitor Clara Schmitt at Gage Georgetown Studio C for independent sculpting sessions featuring a live nude model. While there won't be formal instruction, Clara will be present to manage the timing and pose settings for the model. Each session provides 3 hours of creative exploration, though the pose is set for 6 consecutive sessions, to give enough time for sculptors to fully explore their composition. 

This Open studio is accessible for all levels and all manner of artists, whether they are seasoned sculptors or just at the beginning of their 3D creative exploration. Water-based clay or oil-based clay can be provided although armatures will not be offered, and artists would have to work on their own ones. Artists can also choose to work with any other kind of material they see fit, as long as they respect their fellow studio peers (being mindful of the noise or space taken up) and respect the studio space (clean up after themselves).
