A 5 week course dedicated to the particulars of the portraiture, but through the lens of animation and gesture. We will be studying week to week a more dynamic approach to facial structure and how to draw appealing faces like you see in Disney, anime, and other stylized works. Expressions and hair will also be covered.
This is a volume based drawing class with lots of in-class drawing and instruction, as well as week to week homework encouraged. By the end, you will be able to draw stylized portraits better and be more in touch with your own personal style.
