If so, this class is a good fit for you! This will be a 5 week deep dive into creating a better compositions for your art using film and animation as a study source. Using her knowledge of film from storyboarding for animation and live action, Bri will explore what makes cinematography in cinema really work. Each class will feature lecture/theory and in-class practices with demonstrations. Direct practice and homework includes paper film studies, beat boards, and creating our own compositions. This class is great for anyone who enjoys film and wants to improve their composition skills for their own work, especially painters, animators, storyboarders, photographers, and anyone working in visual medium.
