Paint watercolor renditions of aquatic animals and ocean scenes with teaching artist and illustrator, Willow Heath. Utilize different watercolor approaches, such as, Illustrative, realistic, expressive, and loose styles. Strengthen your knowledge of watercolor techniques and color mixing while finding your artistic voice. Paint jellyfish, sea otters, whales, waves, ocean sunsets, and seascapes as votes on by the class. Learn from weekly live demonstrations or class discussions in a relaxed art studio environment.

Required Supplies

• 140lb cotton watercolor paper.Cold Press. Recommended: 9x12 Blick Premier cotton.
• Watercolor paints, professional quality pan set. Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Holbein etc.
• Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-6. Recommended: Princeton Select series round or Princeton Velvetouch round.
• 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch.
• 1 pencil
• 1 roll of 3M Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Washi Tape .7
• Paper towels
• Scissors
• 1 Sakura Gelly Roll, White pen size 8 or 10
• 1 Pebeo Brand drawing gum masking fluid pen o.7mm
• 1 container for water
• Saral Brand transfer paper or other graphite erasable transfer paper.
