Alla Prima Still Life

February 17 - March 17

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
All Levels
In this hands-on class, you’ll complete one small still-life painting each week using the alla prima (wet-into-wet) approach. Through direct observation, you’ll learn to simplify what you see, mix clean color, and paint with confidence and freshness. Each session includes demos, guided exercises, and personal feedback to help you strengthen your understanding of proportion, value, color, and edge. Using a limited seven-color palette, you’ll explore color harmony and develop stronger technical and compositional skills. Bring 1–3 objects each week—seasonal or personal items encouraged. Perfect for all levels seeking to paint with clarity, spontaneity, and joy.
