COLOR POPS: Spring Florals in Luminous Color
Color Pops is a five-week intensive focused on painting spring florals with bold, luminous color supported by strong structure, form, and light. Grounded in classical observational principles and expanded through contemporary color strategies, this course integrates realism with expressive color design. Students will learn how to build color thoughtfully using value, temperature, and saturation to create florals that feel vibrant, dimensional, and alive. Color is approached as a compositional tool that enhances form, depth, and visual rhythm.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

- Apply color temperature shifts to describe light and depth
- Simplify complex floral forms into strong, readable shapes
- Use saturation strategically to create visual emphasis
