Over the course of this workshop, students will learn how to quickly and efficiently draw a head from any angle, including the features and hair block-ins. This technique can work with any medium and is a great way to begin drawing portraits from imagination, life, and photographs. Students will walk away from the workshop knowing the technique and having a few practice portraits of their own!

Required Supplies

Digital and Traditional both OK!

Instructor will be using Digital primarily with some traditional examples. This is primarily a technique theory class about constructing a head.

Digital artists: Please have a tablet and software you are familiar with. Email briifec@gmail.com for questions

Traditional artists: paper that is at least 11x8.5in (printer paper), pencils, pens (optional), and erasers. Colored pencils, tracing paper also useful
