Using techniques such as stenciling, collage, drawing, writing and even needle and thread this class will help you create a sketchbook habit. Always handy, a sketchbook can be everything from a visual diary to a place to ideate. Themes such as music, nature, quotes, pattern and childhood will be explored using writing and other prompts. Each class begins with an optional show-and-tell, plus a slide show that compliments both a technique lesson and the longer assignment for each class. Optional homework is assigned, plus a supportive group critique will occur at the end of each class.
