Stretch your watercolor beyond the confines of your desk and go big! In this hands-on workshop, we will stretch Arches watercolor paper across wooden stretcher bars and birch panels and then learn how to scale and transfer sketches to a large format. Then use your newly stretched watercolor canvases to expand your paintings to a new scale!
Required Supplies
- 22” x 30” Arches Coldpress 150lb watercolor paper
- Spray bottle
- Clean 2” -4” wide brush
- Canvas stretcher bars (max 24” long)
- Cradled birch panel
- Clean bath towel
- Staple gun & staples
- Rubber mallet
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
