Sumi Painting

Experience serenity of expression through the techniques of sumi painting. Students will explore creative forms of self-expression using sumi (ink) to interpret images as well as change in color through tonal value. Use of traditional tools, brush methods, and approach to content will be taught. A variety of subject matter will be covered including florals as well as landscape.
