The hands are by far one of the most expressive and complex parts of the human body. Hands well-drawn or sculpted in figurative art immensely enhance the overall quality of the piece; whereas poorly rendered hands can destroy what may otherwise be a strong piece. This workshop will offer students a thorough overview of how to draw hands with accuracy and expression. Anatomy of the hand, from the skeleton to the veins, will add an in-depth understanding of and appreciation for the intricate structure that gives the human hand its incredible capabilities and beautiful form. Taking both Part 1 and Part 2 of the workshops is recommended, but if desired either workshop can be taken independently
