In-School Programs and Partnerships
↵Gage Academy of Art partners with local schools to provide hands-on art learning experiences. We are here to collaborate with our amazing local K-12 teachers and support the work they do each day.
Classes: We partner with schools to offer customized art classes, either by bringing our youth instructors into classrooms or by hosting sessions at Gage designed specifically for students from those schools. Current partners include Summit Schools, Big Picture in Highline, and Downtown School.
Internships: We collaborate with high schools and colleges to provide students with credit-earning internships that offer real-world experience at a nonprofit art school. Our interns have contributed to planning our Gala, helped shape the Youth Artist Advisory Board (YAAB), and brought youth perspectives to life through our Youth Instagram.
