My figurative artwork is as much about the sitter as it is about my thoughts, feelings and actions. I am inspired the Baroque ideas of time, space and making pictures that enter into the psychic space of the viewer. Greco-Roman myths crossing paths with Christian iconography is also a spring board for my compositions. Above all, the act of expressing myself visually in full participation (mind, body, spirit, and heart) allows me to discover how things are rather than what they are."
