Learn various pen mark-making techniques to create tone and texture with line. Through a variety of exercises, approach styles used in Master prints to contemporary drawings. A range of techniques will be introduced weekly, and drawings will cover realism, abstract design, portrait and landscape styles referencing past and present artists. Reference material provided.

Required Supplies
Drawing pencil
Bristol 300 smooth pad is best for pens but any sketchbook will do
Kneaded and white plastic erasers
Set of Micron pens .005 -.8 - Black
At least a range of 12 pen colors :
Gelly Roll colored pens, or any Gell pens - various colors, or Micron or any other brands - no markers
Include a white Gell pen - (a set has various pen widths)
