Youth Atelier
Students in the Youth Atelier will build a strong foundation in drawing and painting while learning to think critically about their work and creative process. Coursework will emphasize observation, structure, technique, and personal development, giving students the building blocks they need to create with greater freedom and intention.
Over the course of the program, students will develop:
- Foundational drawing and painting skills
- Experience working from life
- A consistent studio practice
- Greater visual problem-solving skills
- Creative confidence and independence
- A deeper understanding of their own artistic voice
The Youth Atelier is ideal for students ages 15-18 who are serious about their art and curious about pursuing a creative future.
Through consistent studio time, guided instruction, and a supportive learning environment, students will begin developing the habits, skills, and discipline that form the foundation of a strong artistic practice. The program is especially well suited for teens who may be considering art school, portfolio development, or a career in the visual arts.
