Learn drawing and watercolor techniques to simplify complex scenes and create charming and clear images. Develop your own unique artistic shorthand to reduce overwhelming detail & add character to a painting.
We will explore the Pacific Northwest as well as other parts of the world using Street View and photo references. In the first classes we will use dry media, and then move into watercolor in later weeks.

black felt tip pen (paper mate brand preferred)
pencil
eraser
sketchbook paper
watercolor paper (recommended: 120lb studio Fabriano paper, hot or cold press)
masking tape
waterproof pen
watercolor kit of choice
