Portrait Painting in Grisaille
Grisaille is a painting executed entirely in shades of grey or another neutral color. This allows the artist to focus entirely on the values of their painting without the complexity of color. In this class we will create a fully rendered grisaille portrait over the 2-day workshop. Beginning with a drawing in paint, we continue through the under painting to more subtle and nuanced passes.
