Learn the fundamental drawing skills and techniques for you to advance on your artistic path. Instruction in a variety of dry drawing media (pencil, charcoal and ink and their applications, sighting techniques, the principles of composition, how to apply expressive line and value, and scaling techniques will be introduced through weekly exercises with demonstrations. References and handouts provided. Emphasis will be placed on relative proportion with observational drawing and creating 3D form with 2D media.
