Successful watercolor portraits combine energy and spontaneity with technique. Watercolor artist Willow Heath takes the mystery out of the process with weekly live demonstrations of techniques and how to start, render, and eventually finish your portrait. During the course you'll explore how to imbue expression and balance to your portraits while exploring different styles from loose and expressive to layered controlled realism. You'll have the opportunity to paint along with the weekly lesson prompt or opt to paint on your own portrait theme utilizing a more open art studio approach.

No class on February 23rd.
