BIG PICTURE: DRAW, LEARN, EXPRESS YOURSELF & HAVE FUN!

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. True artists learn not only to create but also to destroy, destroy something they have created in order to recreate. In this energetic workshop you are encouraged to respond to your subject, to draw them accurately and find your own voice when doing so. Through an understanding of the fundamentals of figure composition, expressive mark making, proportion, anatomy and structure in the service of drawing, the student will learn the importance of academic drawing techniques and the importance of going beyond just technique. The essential nature of this workshop is that you will be introduced to various techniques that will help you advance artistically. This workshop aims to push your artistic boundaries and provide you in the short term with tangible breakthroughs in your work.
