Bring Your Toys To Life with Colby Cadigan

In this camp, students will build fundamental observational drawing and painting skills by using some of their most prized possessions: their toys! Over the course of the class, students will learn various techniques in order to understanding the six basic principles of rendering an object realistically: Shape, Value, Texture, Line Quality, Proportion, and Perspective. By the end of the class, students should have the confidence to begin draw and paint from life without needing to be in a classroom, opening the doors for creating much more beautiful art in the future! Kids won't be limited to just one toy throughout the entire class, and are encouraged to bring multiple toys that they want to make art of. It also helps to have extras to share with other students, just in case somebody doesn't have one!

Jazz Magic with Ashley Miya

This is an energetic and playful dance camp where young dancers are introduced to the basics of jazz dance in a fun, supportive environment. Students will learn foundational jazz steps such as kicks, turns, jumps, and simple traveling movements while exploring rhythm, musicality, and expressive performance. Each day includes warm-ups, games, across-the-floor exercises, and easy-to-follow choreography set to upbeat, age-appropriate music. Campers will also use imagination and storytelling to bring movement to life, helping them build confidence, coordination, and body awareness. No prior dance experience is required. By the end of the week, students will feel proud of what their bodies can do and excited to share a short jazz routine inspired by creativity and fun.

Gage offers a creative and structured environment for before and after camp care for Kids Camps. You can pre-enroll or pay by day for a drop-in. 

• AM session – 8:00am – 9:30am
• PM session – 3:30pm – 5:00pm
• Fees: $125 weekly rate, or $32 daily rate
• No PM care on Fridays
