Students will learn the rules of composition through the lens of film, movies, and TV. These rules will be studied and then students will learn how to apply this to their own visual art work and styles. Students will walk away with plenty of film studies, a better knowledge of compositional theory, and the beginning of an illustration: a beat board!
Required Supplies
Traditional: Paper, pencil, eraser, markers, pens (think inking pens), a camera and way to upload art for class, access/ability to install discord or use email
OR
Digital: digital drawing tablet, stylus, drawing program such as procreate, photoshop, or clip studio paint
