Survey historical and contemporary drawing media and techniques while strengthening your ability to render from life.

Explore the range of mark making possibilities through the different tools and surfaces commonly used from the past few centuries into the modern era, such as metal point, pen and ink, and trois crayon.

Working from varying still life and master copies, see how the varied drawing languages from old and new materials can help inform, broaden and shape your own drawing vernacular.
