Nicholas Enevoldsen
$730
"The Painter’s Tool Kit" is the introductory course in the Core Painting Pathway. Students learn the basics of color theory and how to control paint using either oil or acrylic paint media. Topics include an introduction to materials, palette organization, and color mixing using brushes and a palette knife. Through a series of exercises, artist replicas, and a still-life painting from observation, students explore diverse approaches to paint application and develop the core perceptual and technical skills needed to create representational paintings across a variety of subjects.
