Drawing From Your Favorite Book: Illustrating Characters & Worlds

In this playful and imagination-driven class, students will explore how pictures help tell stories. We’ll look at characters, settings, and visual style from our favorite books — from picture books to early chapter stories — and learn how to bring them to life on the page. Through drawing exercises, creative prompts, and guided projects, kids will illustrate their own characters and scenes inspired by stories they love, building confidence in sketching and design while discovering their unique artistic voice.
