Do you love drawing and nature? If the natural world inspires you to create, then this is the class for you! In this new 10-week class, students will draw their favorite locations around the Pacific Northwest, including coasts, forests, mountains, waterfalls, and more. We will spend two weeks on each subject, allowing for a thorough study of each landscape. Through live demonstrations of pencil techniques, composition building, and thoughtful discussion on process, this class will teach solid foundational drawing skills while allowing for individual exploration. Come learn how value, texture, and scale can work together to create dynamic compositions that speak to the beauty of nature.
