The human figure has long inspired artists as one of the most fascinating subjects to draw, full of movement, personality, and subtle beauty. This class is designed for those who are new to drawing the figure from life and want to build both skill and confidence. Together, we’ll explore simple ways to see and understand the figure in space, learning to translate what we observe into expressive drawings. Through a mix of quick gesture sketches and longer studies, students will discover how observation, rhythm, and tone can bring drawings to life. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
