Figure Sculpting in Clay

This class, suitable for artists of all experience levels, focuses on concepts of gesture, structural anatomy, powerful 3D form and expressive design flow. After an initial session of quick gesture sculptures, students will create a ⅓ live size clay figure, working from the live model. The final sculpture will be suitable for firing in a kiln.

Required Supplies

Clay provided by Gage.

Some community wooden tools and wire rake tools will be available for use.
