Figure Sculpting Studio

In this course, you will learn how to master the fundamentals of three-dimensional rendering through careful observation of a live model. You will develop advanced skills that will significantly enhance your ability to see and understand the human figure in space. Over the course of 10 sessions, we will work from a single sustained pose to create a clay figure suitable for firing or molding. For this Spring session, we will focus on a standing pose and work toward the rendering of a one-third-scale full figure in oil-based clay. Clay and armature are provided. All levels are welcome.
