Experience the flowing techniques of Japanese sumi painting. Sumi (ink) will be the primary medium used to express a variety of subjects associated with fall - flowers, vegetables, fruit, landscape. Traditional tools and materials as well as basic brushwork will be covered. Students will be encouraged to express their individual interpretation of subjects.
