Join Ashwini for a two-day immersive workshop exploring the structure and beauty of the autumn through birds, botanicals & observational painting. Drawing from classical realism, and contemporary nature art, students will explore how seasonal forms become compelling compositions through observation, design, and expressive color. Working from curated references & demonstrations, participants will study:
Bird construction and proportion
Feather pattern and texture
Botanical structure and foliage design
Value organization and light logic
Seasonal color relationships
Composition and visual storytelling
Techniques for atmosphere and depth
Across the weekend, students will develop studies and a finished artwork while strengthening foundational observational skills in nature painting.
