Practice the art of creating fantastical and/or mundane worlds through character, environment, and prop design. This class is 50% drawing, 50% thinking. We will take a look at world-building in movies, comics, and cutaway drawing books, and we will draw from reference to create original works. If you have ever ever thought about what life would be like if people rode around on giant bugs or lived in a fleet of ancient spaceships, this class is for you. What if there was a giant space snail that wore one of the spaceships like a shell? That would be pretty cool.
