Carlos Martinez is an artist based in Seattle, WA. Carlos’ work is rooted in the surreal imagery found in his dreams, nature, and his afro-indigenous background that trace back to Oaxaca and Guerrero, Mexico. His paintings collide subjects found in nature from celestial bodies to botanicals, and exotic birds, expanding our understanding of nature and its creations. Carlos works with acrylic paint and ink.
