Kalina Tosheva

Kalina Tosheva is an artist and instructor based in Seattle, WA. Working primarily in oil and charcoal, her work focuses on portraiture, figurative compositions, and landscape. She began her training at the National Academy of Arts in Bulgaria and later graduated from the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. She has since taught workshops at the Florence Academy and courses within other atelier-based programs while maintaining an independent teaching practice. Her work has been awarded and recognized internationally by competitions and organizations such as the Portrait Society of America, the Almenara Art Prize, and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Kalina is passionate about helping students build strong technical foundations and the confidence to pursue their artistic vision.
