Lilyane Christante is a representational painter and draftswoman from Seattle Washington. Her work celebrates the beauty of the natural world through careful observation from life. Chasing the light and form of her subjects often unlocks other emotions: loss, joy, or the pain of passing time which she captures with oil paint or graphite.

Lilyane trained in traditional methods for three years in the Classical Atelier at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle WA, USA. Her study has continued with Charles H. Cecil in Florence, Italy in 2025. As of the summer of 2025, she is on schedule to study at Studio Escalier in France.

Her curiosity to discover more about the great artists of the past has prompted a 2024-25 visit to Rome, Florence, Vienna, Paris and Dublin. She believes that the future of art must celebrate the past. She values the technique passed down to her and intends to play her part in preserving that tradition.
