Designed for both beginners and intermediate painters, this class will introduce painters to the techniques used by the French Impressionists as well as those of other American and European painters of the time. Using photos, students will accomplish a master study, an original work and will be well prepared to paint with an impressionist palette in both oil and acrylics. This class is part of a two class series. See “Impressionist Painting Intensive” which follows this course and will be a deep dive into art history and will personalize impressionist techniques to fit the aesthetic of each student.
