Illustrating Underwater Worlds

Combine your passion for underwater environments, imagination, and science in this focused science illustration session! During our class, we will create an illustrated underwater ecosystem by combining reference photos, specimens, and small-scale models. We will explore how to compose an illustration from sketch to final, illustrate species relationships, and then use watercolor to create the illusion of underwater life. We will also create small-scale models with natural objects and modeling clay to visualize lighting and design our environment.
