Painting Your Favorite Animal/Pet!

In this class, students will learn the basic drawing, painting, and color mixing skills needed to make an animal portrait by themselves from start to finish. Through a shared image that all students will take reference from, students will learn how to block in a basic drawing, how to mix paints in order to get colors that commonly appear in animals, and the basic painting techniques used to make a portrait. After the students have gone through the workflow once, they will then demonstrate their knowledge of those steps through an animal portrait of their choosing. Students will then receive individual instruction throughout the classes based on their needs.
